Glen Park

Glen Park

A neighborhood is defined by its geography.

Welcome to Glen Park

Glen Park lies to the immediate south of Noe Valley, and is marked by the steep rise of Billy Goat Hill and Fairmount Heights. Somewhat like Bernal Heights, it too is a neighborhood defined by geography. The more northerly Fairmount Heights area, with its fantastic view vistas of downtown San Francisco, is more oriented toward the Church and 30th part of Noe Valley. The other parts of Glen Park, largely up and over the hill, are oriented toward the Chenery st pocket of commerce. Glen Park boasts its own BART station, making it desirable for downtown and Financial District San Francisco workers. It is also very convenient to 280 south. The neighborhood has also recently enjoyed a substantial refurbishment of a tremendous city park, Glen Park Canyon park, and a recreation center.
